  1. 简介

There are dozens of books on “hacking” out there. Unfortunately, many are full of “tips” that become outdated as soon as the book is published, or they are full of arcane(晦涩难懂的) theory that is useless from a practical(实用性的) point of view.

One of the best books I have read is Hacking:TheArtofExploitation by Jon “Smibbs” Erickson. The big difference with other books was that Jon gives you the mind set you need to break other people’s code. The second most important thing he gives is practical examples. He created a special CD with his own version of Linux that had all the safety features switched off, so you could practice safely.

Jon
